9:27 - In the Air - wooho!!

Just passed Okanagan Lake, Jo and I have been working on some crosswords since we found our seats on the plane. The flight is pretty packed, but we have just the two of us in the three seats in our row. No, we didn't get bumped, were in a tiny row. We saw our farm from the plane window a few minutes ago, so I snapped a pic but it doesnt sow it very well!

Last night we dropped the kids off at the farm with Grandma and Grandpa (that's pretty much Disneyland for the kids). Then we finally arrived at Steve and Bronwyn's around 9:00 or so. A little visiting, and some shared advice on traveling in Europe, then off to bed. Steve was up early enough to make some coffee and dropped us at the airport which is not on his way to work - thanks Steve!

Check in went smooth and we soon waved au revoir to our luggage and promised to meet up with them again in Paris. Hope hope hope… I'm carrying this tiny little toshiba libretto computer and the Canon digital SLR in a Camera bag with all the cables, batteries, chargers etc. Jo's got her backpack with our passports books, light coats… We are pretty optimistic about the weather in France.

Just starting to pass over the foothills of the Rockies in Alberta 49.26N 114.14W 9:47am. Continuara…

11:55am at 865km km/h near Thunder Bay Ont.
Just finished watching MI 3 which was pretty decent movie. We should be landing in about an hour? Nice flight so far. Maybe we had the time wrong, its 12:35pm and I see on our itin we should land in about and hour. OK, just a little bored, I better start reading my DaVinci Code now.
